Determining a Main Character or Many
Writing a lot of characters can be difficult. This is one reason why most stories have a single main character. But some books have many main characters. How would you write a story if you were writing about a large family? Would you focus on a single character? If so, who and why? Or would you try and make every character a main character? If so, how would you do this?
Personally, I think I’d focus on every character (minus infants) and I’d write it George R.R. Martin style with each character’s perspective being presented in their own chapters.
