Here is the second survey for my project. Please help me out by filling out the questions:
I don’t know if my written responses are annoying (because, again, it means i didn’t do the actual survey). I think discrimination against atheists is real but, in the UK at least, it is not a prevalent issue. Ticking the yes box on your survey would be misleading; it’s real but not prevalent.
The reasons for discrimination are numerous: a misunderstanding of atheism leads to the perception of hypocrisy, not understanding their privilege means many think equality looks like discrimination…
Mostly I just can’t use answers that aren’t in the survey. Discrimination is still discrimination regardless of whether or not it’s a huge issue. The questions are merely asking if you think that over-all discrimination against atheists is wide-spread. Is it common? Have you seen it? Is it in the media? You can take that as meaning just the UK, but you can also take into consideration what you’ve heard of the rest of the world.
